MAC Visit and Dinner
We invite NETMob 2026 participants to join us for a special optional visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC Niterói), followed by dinner at Bistrô MAC , on October 15th.
Participation is available for an additional fee of R$ 200 (~US$38), which includes admission to the museum, the dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages . If you would like to join us, please add the ticket to your registration by October 4th (see instructions on how to do it below).
For students: The NETMob 2026 organizers will cover the cost of the MAC visit and dinner for registered students. Students who would like to participate should still add the ticket to their registration following the instructions below by October 4th, but should not proceed with the payment. Instead, after adding the ticket to your registration (the ticket will appear as pending payment), please send an email to netmob2026@midiacom.uff.br with the subject line “Dinner + Visit to MAC – Student” , including your full name and registration number , by October 4th. The organizers will then deduct the R$ 200 from the amount due.
The evening will begin with a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Niterói (MAC Niterói) , one of Brazil’s most distinctive architectural landmarks. Designed by renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer , the museum is celebrated for its striking saucer-shaped design and its spectacular location overlooking Guanabara Bay and the Rio de Janeiro skyline . Participants will have the opportunity to explore the museum and enjoy its panoramic views before heading to Bistrô MAC for dinner and an evening of socializing with fellow conference attendees.
The dinner will feature a fixed menu with a choice of meat, fish, or vegan options , with non-alcoholic beverages included. Alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase at the restaurant.

How to Add the MAC Visit and Dinner to Your Registration
- Log in to your account on the Registration website .
- Click Edit registration at the bottom of the page.
- In the Extras section, add a ticket for "Dinner + Visit to the MAC Museum" at a unit cost of R$ 200 . You may add as many tickets as you wish.
- Click Save Registration .
- At the bottom of the page, click Choose another payment method .
- Select your preferred payment method and click SAVE .
- Click Proceed to payment to complete the payment.
